ABOUT NEW STUDIO
New Studio, founded by David Allan Pesso in 1989, is a boutique industrial design consulting firm that specializes in providing strategic product design, development, and licensing services to top contract furniture brands. Our manufacturing partners include renowned names such as Darran, Geiger International, MillerKnoll, Jasper Group Brands, KI, Kimball Office, Nemschoff, Plural Studios, Steelcase, and Tuohy.
David Allan Pesso, who graduated with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1987 with a BFA / ID, has obtained licenses for over 350 original designs and has been granted 24 US Patents. Our firm has also been recognized for excellence in the industry, receiving awards such as the IIDA, Best of NeoCon, and the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design’s Good Design Award.
Originally conceived in Connecticut, New Studio now operates out of Scottsdale, AZ, as a multi-person and multi-dog consulting firm. We take pride in our ability to consistently deliver innovative and effective design solutions to our clients, helping them achieve their business goals while upholding the highest standards of quality and creativity.
